A couple years ago, the lovely Lady Ovrage had all the natives (esp the guys!) flocking to her faleo’o to drool over some incredible images of perfectly sculpted cupcakes and cookies and mmm cake that could rival the creations of any cake boss. She made a few comments about wanting to turn her food hobby into a business, then disappeared for a little while… Where’s she been?
I’m soooo excited and so very proud to announce that she did it! Complete with blog and gorgeous website, Lady O, aka Zelda Dahya turned her dream into a reality!
She’s graciously returned for a visit… to talk about some of her favorite things these days, and to tell us about the business she’s built on her passon for food.

How did you find One Samoana?
What’s the funniest/craziest thing you ever witnessed/did in the village?
The discussion board was really funny. The responses made by the natives were hilarious. One Samoana hosts so many funny colorful personalities who keeps the site alive and kicking.
What’s an experience you had that made you SO proud to be Samoan?
Watching loved ones achieve their dreams and making it a reality…My sister Kat Fatupaito is PIPA student who is in production ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ with a pacific island twist.
Also my very good friend Maureen Fepulea’i who is like a sister to me is a playwriter who has been nominated for an Adam NZ play award.

HGG Notes about Zelda:
* Want to ogle and drool at your computer screens for a long, lustful moment? Click HERE. But be warned… you may not ever find your way out of there… mmmmmm….
* Thank you to our village Security (and Smoove Grooves) for getting Zelda to take some time out of her very busy life to do our Native Spot interview 🙂
* Okay.. as a certified food-lover (yes it’s true) I gotta confess.. some of these cakes are so beautifully decorated they just make me wanna cry… who does that, right? How about we let some of these images speak for themselves:
* I wonder if Zelda’s taking on any apprentices… how about it, suga? 😀
